Finally, after almost a year, I have once again made soap.  Just a small 2.5 lb. test batch of Wild Fig & Cassis done using the oven hot process method.  I realize Wild Fig and Cassis might be a bit out of season (is it?  I dunno), but it just smells…good.  A grown-up sorta fruity, little bit perfumey, sophisticated big-girl scent.  I’m really hoping this one little batch will push me over the edge, and get me going again.  I NEED to make soap.  Even if I don’t sell it, we’re almost out of soap here in the house, so it will come to good use.  We’ll see tomorrow when it gets unmolded.
